DESNUTRIÇÃO E DEMÊNCIA: Que cuidados?
Abstract
Os processos demenciais quando se associam a outras comorbilidades podem ter impacto negativo no estado nutricional. Apresenta-se estudo de caso, realizado em janeiro 2013, num Centro de Saúde Mental, Zona Norte do país, com o objetivo de conhecer a associação da desnutrição com a demência, utilizando-se a técnica de análise de conteúdo do processo clínico. Os resultados sugerem que a avaliação e intervenção transdisciplinar tiveram consequências e produziram ganhos em saúde.
