Proceedings of Gerontology publishes original research, theoretical essays and case reports that advance understanding of aging processes and support practices.
Current Issue
Actas de Gerontologia is a peer-reviewed academic journal associated with the Conference on Evaluation and Intervention in Social Gerontology. This issue corresponds to the 2026 edition of the conference and brings together original contributions presented by researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students participating in the event.
The journal aims to disseminate scientific knowledge in the field of social gerontology, with particular emphasis on the evaluation of social, psychological, and community-based processes related to ageing, as well as on intervention strategies, social policies, and innovative practices aimed at improving the quality of life of older adults.
This special issue is open to all conference participants and includes empirical studies, theoretical analyses, methodological contributions, and applied research addressing ageing from interdisciplinary and socially grounded perspectives.
All submissions undergo an editorial screening process and a peer-review procedure in accordance with the journal’s academic and ethical standards.
